The pre-separating hopper is usually located directly under the filter and is useful to convey the air, therefore helping in the first dust separation. MIX S.r.l, through continual investment in R & D, have developed a series of pre-separating hoppers of exceptional modularity and the product obtained has been positively received by many different industry sectors for its innovative ideas & benefits, some of which are:
- the materials used in the hoppers construction and its associated equipment;

- air inlets in aluminium in the plain spigots (for use with flexible connections) or in the flanged version;
- blind flanges, all interchangeable with inlets even after the installation,
- centrifugal dust separator (has to be located between the hopper and the filter);
- butterfly valves (set at the hopper’s discharging door);
- quick release dust collectors (set at the hopper discharging door).
